GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES     

THEME CAMPS

Campers are divided into the following groups for the theme camps:
5 to 8 years of age  and  8 to10 years of age
Each group will have 8 to 10 members.
We plan to have boys and girls separated provided enough registrations occur.

Staff will be as follows:
One team leader per 8 to 10 children
One staff member for every two teams for logistics and theme activities.
One general coordinator to supervise the entire camp, facilitate teamwork and provide communication and leadership.

Activities are designed to provide weekly adventures. Development of language, leadership, critical thinking, creativity and fine motor skills occur along with social skills as the members work within the team based activities.

Activities:  Arts & Crafts;  Painting; Cooking; Sports; Recreational Games; Aquatics for those locations with swimming facilities; Integration of Fun, Learning and Virtue.

Safety is a primary concern and is accomplished through adequate staffing and thorough training.  Any special needs and/or medical conditions must be noted on the registration form.

Drop-off and Pick-up procedures for each location will be clearly explained and followed to ensure child safety.
